Monthly Preps 1

I much prefer starting with the complete list and buy targets of opportunity. However others like monthly prompts.

This system will provide incentive and reminders to be prepared. It is always a good idea to keep a food journal aka a use journal and write down EVERYTHING that you [your family] use each day. From this log book you will be able to project how much stuff that you will need to stock for a year or however long you need to plan for. See our food storage beyond basics list template for the average.

Each person also would benefit from keeping their own journal with them to write down things they learn or want to learn and any ideas that come to them.

The family / group should have regular meetings [at least weekly] to share what they have learned. Don’t forget to document the lessons learned.
